With vision and courage

LC Energy moves the way the energy transition moves – fast, alert, adaptive and goal-driven. Our focus on a sustainable future is what drives our solid and passionate team. Despite the high stakes of our objectives, we remain nimble on our feet. This way, we can maneuver while staying accessible, and navigate with a steady gaze towards sustainable achievements.

LC Energy has its foundation in Wageningen, which has led to a deliberate ecological approach to technical engineering from the very beginning. We collaborate with academic partners, such as Wageningen University, on ecological projects on solar sites that have been developed by us. Contributing to the energy transition to us means shaping a tangible, sustainable future.

Since the establishment of LC Energy in 2017, I am still delighted to be at the helm. This gives me the perfect opportunity to contribute positively to the Dutch energy transition. Solar energy and batteries are essential for this! I developed a passion for solar energy in the laboratory during my studies. I now have ten years of practical experience in the development of solar parks and battery parks, and my passion remains strong, especially now that I am doing it with a fantastic, experienced, and driven team.

I feel like I'm contributing to a better future while creating significant opportunities for 'real' people I meet. It doesn't get any better than this.

I'm in my 16th year of developing "clean energy projects." Initially, it was on a non-commercial basis, primarily abroad. I am pleased that opportunities have now arisen in the Netherlands to implement PV and batteries so we can finally take action to reduce carbon emissions in the Netherlands.

I have always wanted to make the Netherlands a bit more beautiful. Beauty is sustainable and in line with how I want to leave the world for my children (and hopefully grandchildren later on!). Working on the energy transition with solar fields and batteries falls under that. My quest: how can we add other forms of value during construction? In the transition to a different, sustainable energy supply, I want to create as much space as possible to make the Netherlands more beautiful in every sense.

I realize my responsibility to preserve our world for future generations; therefore, I want to dedicate my energy to creating a better tomorrow. I am glad that after completing my studies, I have found my place at LC Energy, where we acknowledge the severity of the climate crisis but approach it with sensitivity, paying attention to nature and the environment.

We are only at the beginning of significant climatic changes. We are experiencing more extreme weather patterns firsthand, and it's challenging to adapt. Yet, amidst these challenges lie opportunities. Collaboratively developing solar parks, including their landscape integration and striving for community acceptance, presents a beautiful opportunity for me to contribute to the energy transition and climate adaptation efforts.

With my background in spatial planning, I am always seeking challenges in the landscape. One of the biggest challenges in this regard is the energy transition. At LC Energy, I can contribute to this transition and seize it with both hands!

Fossil fuels are finite, but solar energy is not. Landowners find a receptive ear with me in transitioning from food producer to energy producer: solar energy as a new 'crop'.

Climate change is accelerating, and that's why we need to pick up the pace as well. With my technical background, I aim to contribute to this cause. At LC Energy, we can make real, meaningful strides in accelerating the energy transition.

My passion for sustainable energy originated during my studies. Throughout my entire career, I have worked with and for sustainable energy. It is possible to sustain our way of life without passing on its adverse effects to future generations. That drives me every day in my - modest - role in the energy transition.

We can improve the world with sustainable energy. We can't wait any longer; the world keeps warning us. At LC Energy, I have the opportunity to turn the tide. Solar power on land provides safe, green energy that contributes to positive climate change. Let's all work together to ensure that our children and grandchildren can continue to enjoy this earth.
