The planning area, near Silvolde and Terborg, lies north of the railway line and south of the N818. The planning area is located south of the wooded area and covers a total of 17 hectares. The plan includes ample space for nature development, for example, by opting for vegetation consisting of local and vulnerable species. The roe deer can also continue to use the plots.

Remarks

Solar Park Havebos is an intended location for the research program ‘SolarEcoPlus.’ LC Energy, TNO, WUR, Eelerwoude, and SolarCentury will collaborate to study the ecological and economic yields of solar parks built with innovative two-sided functioning panels. More information can be found here. Monitoring has already commenced: the current flora and fauna are being surveyed. From now on, you may also encounter a bat detector powered by four solar panels. Field recordings and soil investigations are also part of the monitoring.
