LC Energy, the initiator behind the solar park in Maria Hoop, is exploring the possibilities for battery storage in the adjacent area. Thomas van de Brand, LC Energy: “The battery storage system helps us to store solar energy produced during the day for use in the evenings or on cloudy days. This makes us less dependent on non-renewable sources and makes the electricity grid more stable and reliable.”
